Personally I like and drive muscle, but with someone who knows what they're doing an import can be a fierce rival. I also believe there is a difference between ricers and tuners. Tuners are the 10 sec imports we see at the track every so often with a big turbo and possible body mods. A ricer is the guy with an 18 sec. import that has a $7,000 paint job, $2,000 body kit, and a $500 wing. I like muscle because I upgrade for cheap and if a part brakes then I just bolt on a new one and I'm on my way. No computer code crap.
my only complaint about the show is you get one guy who builds a 9 second car then a guy builds a 11 second car then you match them up.
how about forcing a certain time ranges between people? i cant count how many times i've heard people say they brought a faster car then what was agreed on. this only hurts the fans of the show.
I have had plenty of Big Block muscle cars Chevy, Ford and Mopar but my WRX does 12.5's with the AC on and gets me 20mpg on the way home from Englishtown!
Muscle! I actually raced a turbo colt back in the mid 80s because I was in college and on a tight budget. That little car was fun but I was back to V8s when it was time to get serious again.
Rice, ive seen some nice muscle cars but it doesnt take any thing to build a good muscle cars yet with the rice it takes a good mind and alittle know how. GIT-R-DONE
Im not knocking imports, some of those ricers are pretty quick, but I cant get past those huge slicks mounted up front.....But hey, if its fast....ITS FAST! We all know sooner or later someones gonna stick a supercharged/turbocharged nitrous'd ricer motor in a Mustang and then all HELL will break loose, theyve already started sticking Chevy motors in them, lol.
ITS TUNERS FOR ME.THE REALITY IS IF YOU MATCH UP THE RIGHT CARS BETWEEN TUNER AND MUSCLE ITS ALL ON THE DRIVER.SO WHAT YOU DRIVE ONLY REFLECTS HOW YOU DRIVE IT! IVE SEEN PLENTY OF TUNERS BEAT MUSCLE AND PLENTY OF MUSCLE BEAT TUNERS.SO ITS A NEVER ENDING TOPIC BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH GOOD IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
Turbos can make anything faster but raw muscle horsepower is what racing is all about. It's about the better, faster motor not the better turbo. Evrytime I hear a ricer I think about mowing my lawn.

Muscle all the way! If a ricer ever drove a true muscle machine down the track, they would junk their Honda.

Leave the rice in the box. If it sounds like a pissed off bee it doesnt need to be on the road. If it runs 10.0 or better id like to see it.
