I like the idea you had in Atlanta to run a quick 8 in addition to the original format. This way some of the really fast cars show up. I still wish you would do a quick 16 super street outlaw race. I'd like to see Tim Lynch , Billy Glidden , Brad Brant , Joel Greathouse , etc. in a TV shootout.
I think you should divide up the group. do imports and domestics! that would be a cool setup I think. so then u wouldn't have Civic's and Nova's goin up aginst eachother. lol
HOw about real car's from real people, instead of the shop war's it's turned into. Every show is like an ad for someone's shop, maybe institue "claimer" rules to keep high dollar part's out.
I know when I watch show's like this on TV, I like to feel like I could participate without a trailer, pit crew, "tuner" and "Builder's" at my side.
At least for one or two show's a season, I understand fast car's bring rating's, but I seriously don't watch because when I did, it's seemed it was an unattainable goal for me.
Maybe you could even follow some guy's around as they get ready for the show, show them in their garage, at home, without lift's and 5 axis cnc machines, doing it the way real people do, on their back, for the love of the sport...
Have a show just for then teenagers only like 19 and under. the cars they have built with the money they've earned by having a part time job. I mean hell id drive 4 or 5 states away just to participate in it.

Maybe if you would spend some time in the pits talking to the racers you would learn what color oil & trans fluid are and you would increase the number of fans that like your show + they will come back to race/watch.....those are the people that put the money in your account...they got you started...your other ideas failed..and in time Pinks will also
You make your living off of the racers. The least you could do is to stand by after the drivers meeting and nod at the drivers. A walk through the pits would have been nice. It is not too much to ask to have all your people at the track on Friday to visit the pits. Future All Out racers need to know that you will not show up until the arm drops. My son was really looking forward to shaking your hand.
I have been on "PINKS", winner of the snowmobile episode, and can tell you out of the 4 tracks I have been at to watch and race, he gets mobbed by everyone! Maybe Rich could do a suite where people can come in single file and get an autograph, and say something to him, instead of 50 people at 1 time. Rich has been very open to people, and has always taken time to see the fans. May not have been in the pits, but definitley by the grandstands. Rich and I have even talked on the phone, asking about life. Rich, Keep up the great work buddy!
I would love to see a Pinks All Out show with modern (year 2000+) cars. And yeah, like many have stated, it would be nice for you and the crew to spend some time in the pits.
For the Pinks show I think it would be great for you to pick a time, pick the cars that run that time, and let them "run what you brung". If they run faster than agreed on time, it's a loss.
Have a pinks all out, and when you get down to the last two, have the winner win the money and the other car as well, just like a regular pinks episode.
Hey Rich, How about answering all the complaints about you and your crew not paying any attention to the racers. Do you have an excuse? At Gateway's All Out immediately after the driver's meeting I watched you turn your back and run to a camera crew while the drivers filed out of the stands. My crew was at the track at 5:30 am on Friday and stayed both days. The only time any of us saw you or any of your on air staff was at the drivers meeting and doing arm drops. You need to pay more attention to the race teams.
it would be cool to invite the fastest cars from each pinks all out you have had so far to come and run a shootout winner take all. The shootout at San Antonio was bad ass especially since I won it. Jeff
Rich ,I think for the season finally you should take all the winners for the season and have a tournament or all the winners from pinks all out. I also would like to see a baby pinks and go to all the 8th mile tracks and have only street legal cars.Drive to the track drive it home.Other than that Ilove the show.Keep up the great work you guys are awesome!!
How about having a 1960's musclecar shoot out. From the years 1964 to 1973, 10 years of cars. The cars must be original except for the cams and gears, they must run street tires,exhaust manifolds, stock heads, stock pistons, stock intake manifold and carburetors. The show would be in 2 parts the small blocks up to 360 cubic inches and the big blocks from 361 on up. We could see what the king of the muslecars really were. I know you like to see the wheel standing 9 second cars but with this shoot out it reflects on the old days of street racing with the dropping of the hands and the spotter at the end.
More average joe racecars, i got a 87 fiero with a blow 3.8v6 runs 13.4 @112 i built in my garage on my back with hand tools. id come on the show but i cant run against the kinda stuff on the show now i know you want fast cars for ratings but i think more people would watch if the wernt all out drag cars and actual street cars. maybe a slow show from each track you guys spend two or three days anyway why not one more. if you could find me another 13.5 car to run against ill sign up.

By not prepicking the field of cars like you did in dallas. on thursday my friend saw a dude right after he pitted and ya'll were interviewing him and he was told he was in the show before anyone ran down the track, he was a 11.00 car. #2 don't move the date up by a day on such a short damn notice. I took it in the shorts on this deal for 240.00. you may be able to afford to piss away 240.00 but we can't. We have 7 or 8 cars that drive to the track, run mid 8's and drive back home. These cars are funny street legal and 2 of them even have air conditioning and power windows.
Here's my advice: no more B.S. like that Honda vs. VW show. The VW driver could have been seriously hurt, and demanding the wheelie bars be yanked off was completely chicken sh*t. I laughed at how much the Honda camp cried on the two different shows, though.
How about a all motorcycle,all truck,or all same make(like all mustangs etc.) Pinks All Out episode.Or have a special season ending All Out episode where the cars are on the line each round.You can call it No Guts No Glory.Just some ideas.I'll continue to watch the way it is... ~S~
All motorcycle, truck, junior dragster or even the snowmobiles "Pinks all out" show would be very cool! I can't believe those snowmobiles run 8's in the 1/4 mile! JC
